When to Feed Dragons Flight Rising

I find it pretty easy to gather food and I always have lots to spare. But I'm wondering how often you feed your dragons and what you'd recommend. I usually feed them about once every day but I don't exactly see the harm in feeding them every other day or so.

Basically it comes down to what you want to do. If you want to maintain the clan energy well fed bonus, feed them daily and you'll be fine with a safety margin. Otherwise, you can feed them as infrequently as you'd like to get dragons' energy levels to what you need for breeding or fighting in the Coliseum.

Or, you can feed them whenever you see the energy dip.

Personally, I feed my dragons once my clan energy gets down to 94%, which for me is once a day when i get on in the morning.

But since you have a smaller clan your needs may be different. It basically boils down to what feels right/works for you

I keep my food at 0 points and only convert enough to feed my coli trainer; once the clan hunger gets down to ~85-90, I feed one other food type to bring it up to ~95. I may or may not have starved my Coatls several times and still kept the wellfed bonus.

you lose 2% energy every 8 hours, so it takes 3 days and 8 hours of non-feeding to fall be low the 80% for the daily energy bonus. so if you want to keep that bonus you need to feed your dragons at least every 3 days to be sure.

I like waiting until the energy bar is at 88%, because it strikes a nice balance of not having to manage my food points every day but also having a good margin of error in case I can't log on for a day. More importantly, I try to always remember to only feed the dragons after I've done all of my exalting for the day--Icepop can welcome them with a nice dinner :D

I feed mine every day to get the full energy bonus, but you don't have to feed them at all ever. You just won't get the bonus or be able to coli.
